The Habitat Restoration Company was contracted for two projects in the spring of this year (2025) at Duchy College Home Farm, Stoke Climsland. The first project was in conjunction with the Woodland Trust to plant over 1,200 whips plus a number of standard trees in three tree alleys as part of an agroforestry trial. The second project involved planting 1,500 native whips within a newly established corridor of riparian buffers.
From the initial planning stages right through to completion, Charlie and his team have been fantastic to work with. Their attention to detail was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. We unfortunately encountered a few delays with third parties delivering tree guards, which meant that some of the planting days had to be rescheduled, but Charlie and the team were incredibly flexible and worked around our delays to ensure that we still met our planting deadlines. Everything was achieved on time and on budget. They coped admirably with our last-minute additions and amendments and were always friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
I have no doubt that we will be using the Habitat Restoration Company again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services to others.
